Thrilled, grateful, stimulated to read this. I said something along these lines to a public school teacher recently. She seemed skeptical. Thank you for making a case for this truth. As well as for your dedication to Kevin. We all have benefitted.

It felt important to add something positive to the prevailing narrative. Glad to hear there’s someone out there who feels the same way!

Hi, Tanya! And thanks! So good to hear from you! I hope you’re all well. Kevin got his degree in paralegal studies last December and has been working part-time since then – remotely since March. He’s been living with me and my 98-1/2yo Mom for the past year – an especially wonderful addition to our bubble since the pandemic descended. He’s grown into an empathic, resilient, sensitive, witty, politically astute, omnivorously learning, ever interesting young man. He doesn’t want to read what I wrote – but he gave me his permission to write it, for which I’m very grateful. All my best always to you and your wonderful family. Take care.
