About Susan Spangler

I'm a graphic designer & illustrator, observer and survivor. My website, www.susanspangler.com, contains a wide portfolio of my projects and images – some for pay, most for love, many for both. This blog, like most of my artwork, is inspired by things that catch my eye, my ear, my heart. Funny, confounding, astounding and encouraging, all at once. You know. Life.

This is extraordinary. You are extraordinary. What you wrote is so powerful, how you wrote it is beautiful. The pictures are exquisite. I’m in awe.

When I think back, it was the most difficult and frightening time. I did, however, come out on the other side and realized that my life will go on and I will succeed and will be happy again. I believe you have the right attitude and skills to move on when you are ready. There can be a good life after divorce. Thank you for sharing this part of your life.

Thinking of you, dear friend. You bring joy and inspiration to many through your insights. You inspire us to find beauty and joy and, when it’s hard to do, to dig deeper and look harder.

Susie, I love your words! I’m sorry you are enduring this loss of your marriage. After my husband passed in 2001 my sister said to me….forward, Barbara. You have to go forward. I say the same to you! Hang in there. I envy you having your mom in your life still, she’s really Amazing! I pray for peace for you! ❤ the ‘other’ Barbara Scheiber!

  6. This is so beautiful and wise, Suse. Hoping and wishing for more peace and joy ahead for you. ❤

  7. Hi Susan: You are an amazing woman with beautiful insights. I appreciate every one of your posts as well as your cards. Please say hello to your mother for me. I appreciated the interview with her about her memoir. –Matilda
